Patrick Lewis

Training: Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Ballet

Ballet career: Patrick Lewis trained at the Rambert Ballet school and when he graduated, he performed with the Cullberg Ballet in Sweden, the Royal Swedish Ballet and in 1986 he joined the London Festival Ballet (known as the English National Ballet) as a soloist.

Lewis taught on the Royal Ballet’s Chance to Dance outreach programme. He was commissioned to choreograph several ballets including The Waiting Seed in 1999 and Manoeuvre for the English National Ballet in 2002, among others. Lewis has taught boys ballet at the Royal Academy of Dance for over 15 years.
